About Us
The History of our Rabbitry
My name is Larry Goedde - the "L" of L&M. The "M" part of our rabbitry name is for my daughter Michelle and my wife Marsha. Together we own and manage L&M Holland Lops of Ohio Rabbitry.
Like many rabbit breeders, we started raising rabbits with our daughter for 4H. We chose Holland Lop Rabbits because they are the smallest of the lop eared rabbits and because they are so gentle. We simply fell in love with them. They make great pets and they are relatively easy to care for.
After many years of showing in 4H, our daughter started showing in sanctioned youth shows; first in Ohio and then in other states. Our daughter is now in college and has three
more family members who will show rabbits some day. While our daughter still attends as many shows as she can, Marsha and I have been showing most of the time this year. Our grandaughter (left) loves to go to rabbit shows and help care for the bunnies. And, as you can see, our bunnies are very gentle and easy to handle.
